Phone Lookup ★★★★★
What is it?
A site where you can look up any phone number in North America, and find out the owners name, address, and details about their phone account – like when they registered it – as well as any public records relating to it. Unlike so many other sites, this is specific and simple – it does one thing only, and does it well. If you need to find someone, and all you have is a phone number, this is perfect. But on the other hand, it’s just one tool in a good detectives arsenal, and as useful as it may be there’s only so much you can learn from a phone number.
What does it offer?
Exactly what it sounds like. You type in a phone number (landline or mobile, both work) and it tells you who owns it, and where they live. This is phenomenally useful if you’re trying to find someone, because although people are reluctant to hand out their address, they’re usually a lot more easy going about a phone number. It does exactly what it says it will, and does it well.
My Rating: ★★★★★
What does it cost?
Not much, but more then I would expect it to. $3/month is a reasonable fee, however reverse phone lookups are offered by pretty much every investigation service toolkit, which usually offers a lot more options for a price not all that much higher. So it’s not expensive, but you can find it cheaper elsewhere.
My Rating: ★★★★★
And in conclusion…
The real value to this is the ease of access. For a couple of dollars a month, you can type in anyone’s phone number and find where they live. This is an incredibly useful ability to have on hand, and a tool no private investigator should be without. The only failure is the price – cheap as it is, you can find more complete searches for a very similar price. I’m tempted to only give it 3 stars, but it gets an extra one because it is just so easy to use.
